Dr. B.R Ambedkar open university M.Phil / Ph.D Notification 2020-21

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes in English, Hindi, Telugu, Commerce, Education, Economics, History, Library & Information Science, Political Science, Public Administration and Sociology for the Academic Year 2020-21.

Eligibility:

A candidate should possess Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized university, with a minimum of 55% (50% in the case of SC/ST candidates) of marks for admission into both M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes.

Admission Procedure:

Admission into M.Phil. and Ph.D. programme shall be through an entrance examination (written test) followed by an interview. However, the applicants qualified at the UGC/ JRF/NET/SLET/M.Phil. tests are exempted from appearing for the entrance test provided they register themselves for the admission by paying the requisite fee.

Medium:

The medium of instruction and examination for M.Phil. and Ph.D., entrance test, course work and writing dissertation/thesis shall be English only. In case of languages, the medium of instruction and other activities shall be in the language concerned.

How to Apply

1. The registration for M.Phil., and Ph.D. entrance examination is through online only. 
2. The candidates are advised to visit the Portal of www.braouonline.in. 
3. All the particulars of the candidate has to fill in the prescribed application form and pay the requisite fee at any TS/ AP online centres or through and Debit / Credit card on or before 31-12-2019. 
4. Upload the relevant certificates as mentioned in the Application Form / Synopsis through online. 
5. The registration fee for the above said each examination is Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only). 
6. The registration and payment of examination fee commence from 10-12-2019 and last date of registration and payment of fee is 31-12-2019. 
7. Please keep a Xerox copy of the print out received by the candidate after registration for future reference whenever necessary. 

Date and Time of Entrance Examination: Ph.D. 19-01-2020 from 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M
                                                                  M.Phil. 19-01-2020 from 2.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.
Note: Entrance Test will be held at Hyderabad ONLY.
